Hi, I’m Sae DeRosa, an illustrator with a passion for concept/character design in animation and video games! I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I honed my skills and creativity. I’m all about bringing imaginative worlds and characters to life all while representing body positivity and diverse backgrounds in my artwork.

My hopes and goals...

As a woman, I know firsthand how restrictive and harsh beauty standards can be. That’s why I’m committed to challenging these norms and ensuring diverse representation in every project I tackle. My goal is to see a broader range of beauty reflected in entertainment, from games to animation and beyond.

When I’m not sketching away, you can usually find me curled up with a good video game—“Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” is a current favorite of mine. If I’m not gaming, I’m likely out enjoying nature. Fall is my favorite season, and I love spending it pumpkin and apple picking with my family.

I grew up in upstate New York with my family, who have always been incredibly supportive of my creative passions. From a young age, I discovered my love for drawing, and their encouragement helped me pursue my dreams. Thanks to their unwavering support, I was able to move to Savannah, Georgia, to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2024, ready to take on new creative adventures.
